Easy Functional Mushroom Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Ingredients:
100 g dark chocolate – choose your favorite for the best results.
14–20 drops of mushroom tincture – we recommend Scandi Shrooms for quality and taste.
1/2 tsp cardamom seeds – freshly ground for a warm, aromatic flavor.
Zest of 1 orange – for a citrusy, festive twist.
Instructions:
Melt the Chocolate: Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it gently over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
Grind the Cardamom: Use a mortar and pestle or spice grinder to grind the cardamom seeds into a fine powder.
Prepare the Zest: Use a zester or fine grater to zest one orange, avoiding the bitter white pith.
Mix: Stir the cardamom and orange zest into the melted chocolate. Add the mushroom tincture and mix well. Taste to adjust flavors as needed.
Pour into Molds: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or onto a parchment-lined tray to form your desired shape.
Set: Place the molds in the freezer for about 10 minutes or until the truffles are firm.
