Yes! Adding our tinctures to hot tea or coffee is perfectly fine. Our mushroom extraction process involves high temperatures and extended simmering, ensuring that the final product remains effective regardless of beverage temperature. As for apple cider vinegar (ACV) or other acidic liquids, there are no known contraindications. In fact, some herbal traditions use vinegar as a solvent to extract mushrooms. While vinegar is a less potent solvent compared to alcohol, it is still effective. Using our tinctures in a salad dressing is also perfectly acceptable.

We grow our mushrooms to organic standards, prioritizing environmental sustainability and sourcing quality ingredients. As a small startup collaborating with our mushroom expert and producer, we are currently in the process of obtaining the Swedish Krav certification for our tinctures.

Some of the mushrooms we use in our products are grown on oats sourced directly from Swedish growers and processed separately from other grains, ensuring no gluten contamination. However, they have not yet received gluten-free certification. No Scandi Shroom user with gluten allergies have experienced any issues so far.

At present, insufficient research exists to determine the safety of consuming mushroom extracts during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider or physician. It's also important to note that our tinctures contain 40% alcohol.

Our products are intended for adults. Due to insufficient research, we cannot confidently recommend mushroom extracts for children, so we advise against their use. Instead, incorporating cooked culinary mushrooms into your child's diet is a beneficial option. In the future we will be developing a non-alcoholic tincture which will be totally safe for children and minors to consume.

No, we specialise in functional mushrooms with a rich history in Traditional Chinese Herbalism and supported by modern scientific research. None of our mushrooms have hallucinogenic properties.

We understand sometimes card or banking errors occur. This is why we offer all subscribers a grace period of 7 days. Subscriptions will remain active during this time but we won’t send your tincture until the payment has been processed. If you fail to meet the 7 day cut off your subscription automatically ends. You can pause your subscription at any point and when you’re ready to re start it you can sign into your account and re start it when you’re ready. And yes! Of course you can cancel you subscription at any point.

Our standard delivery times are 2-4 business days in Sweden. Note: Orders placed on weekends will be shipped on the following Monday at the earliest.
